The main part of the museum is Pringle Cottage itself. This old cottage is very important because it's listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. This means it's a special historical place. What's cool is that Pringle Cottage is still in its original spot!

A Village of History

To make the museum feel like a historical village, other old buildings have been carefully moved here. These buildings and the items inside them show more than 100 years of history from Warwick and the areas around it. It's like stepping back in time!

The Willowvale Church

One of the buildings you can see is the Willowvale Presbyterian Church. People built this church in 1909, with many volunteers helping out. It was moved to a different street in the 1950s. Then, in 1972, it found its new home here at the historical village. The church is now called Eastwell Hall. This name honors Leslie Burt Eastwell, who was a past president of the historical society. His father also helped start the society.

The Overseer's Cottage

Another interesting building is the Overseers Cottage. This cottage was first located on a large farm called the Canning Downs pastoral station. Experts believe it was built before the year 1900. It moved to a few different places in Warwick before finally coming to the historical village in 1974.

Grand Entrance Gates

Even the entrance gates to the museum have a story! They originally came from the Queensland National Bank building. That bank used to be on Palmerin Street in Warwick.

The Print Museum

The museum also has a special building called the Print Museum. The local newspaper, the Warwick Daily News, helped pay for this building. Inside, you can see old printing machines and equipment. It shows how newspapers and books were made long ago.

The Emporium Display Space

The Emporium is a building that was built especially for the museum in 1982. It's used to display many different historical items. It helps visitors imagine what old shops might have looked like.
