The Provincial Forum of Tarraco was a very important Roman area in Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. It covered a huge space, about 18 hectares (that's like 33 football fields!). This forum, along with other ancient Roman buildings in the city, is part of the Archaeological Ensemble of Tarraco. This whole group of sites was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Sites in the year 2000.

Construction of the forum began in 73 AD. This was ordered by Emperor Vespasian, a powerful Roman ruler. The forum was used for many important activities until the 5th century. Today, the area where people used to worship is now home to the city's Cathedral and other buildings.
