Puerto Aventuras facts for kids
Puerto Aventuras is a beautiful community located in Quintana Roo, Mexico. It's part of a larger area called Solidaridad Municipality. In 2020, about 22,878 people lived there, making it the second-largest community in Solidaridad, right after Playa del Carmen. Puerto Aventuras is also very close to the ocean, sitting about 9 meters (or 30 feet) above sea level.
Puerto Aventuras is split into two main parts by a road called Highway 307. On the west side of the highway, you'll find where people live, with homes and neighborhoods. On the east side, closer to the Caribbean Sea, is the tourist area. This part is full of hotels and resorts, and it's a popular spot along the famous Riviera Maya.
