The Story of Punk Farm
Punk Farm is about five amazing farm animals who have a secret life! When Farmer Joe is asleep, these animals turn into an awesome punk rock band called "Punk Farm."
Here are the band members:
- Sheep is the lead singer.
- Pig plays the electric guitar and sings backup.
- Goat plays the electric bass guitar and also sings backup.
- Chicken plays the electronic keyboards and sings backup.
- Cow is the drummer and sings backup too.
Their big performance in the book is a punk rock version of the classic song "Old MacDonald Had a Farm"!

Movie Plans

In April 2006, DreamWorks Animation first got the rights to make a computer-animated film based on the book. Kevin Messick and Jim Hecht were set to produce and write the story for this version.
Later, in June 2011, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer announced they were developing their own computer-animated film. David Silverman, who directed The Simpsons Movie and co-directed Monsters, Inc., was chosen to direct this movie. Prana Studios was planned to handle the animation.
As of May 2020, the movie is still being developed.
