Putnam Township is a small community in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, USA. It's a type of local government area called a township. In 2020, about 401 people lived here.
Putnam Township is also home to the village of Covington. Covington used to be a different type of town called a borough. But in 1892, it decided to become part of Putnam Township. People first settled in this area way back in 1801.
