Qazi Wajid (Urdu: قاضی واجد) was a famous Pakistani actor. He was born on May 26, 1937, and passed away on February 11, 2018.
He was known for his amazing acting in many popular TV shows. Some of his most famous works include Tanhaiyaan, Dhoop Kinare, and Ankahi. He had a very long career, working for over 65 years!
Qazi Wajid started his journey in radio. After working there for 25 years, he moved to television in 1966. For all his hard work and talent, the Government of Pakistan gave him a special award called the Pride of Performance Award in 1988.
He performed in more than 1,200 radio dramas and over 500 TV dramas. He was a true legend in Pakistani entertainment.

After India was divided in 1947, his family, including his three brothers and two sisters, moved to Pakistan.
