The Quebec City International Festival of Military Bands (FIMMQ) was a big event in Quebec City. It featured amazing shows by military bands from Canada and other countries. There were also special display teams. This festival happened every August in Quebec City from 1998 to 2013.

The FIMMQ started in 1998. It was hosted by local military bands like Les Voltigeurs de Québec and the Royal 22e Régiment. Over the years, many military and some civilian bands came from all over the world. They came from countries like Germany, Australia, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom.

Outdoor shows were held for everyone in different places around the city. A special indoor show, called the Quebec City Military Tattoo, took place inside the Colisée Pepsi.

The festival was created by Jacques DuSault in 1998. He wanted to offer outdoor music shows to highlight the beauty of Old Quebec City. The Canadian Armed Forces helped a lot with the festival. After 15 years, the festival ended in 2013.
