Quebecor has been very active in the world of sports. They bought the rights to name the Videotron Centre in Quebec City. They also manage the arena.

The company owns the Quebec Remparts, a junior hockey team. Quebecor has also tried to bring a National Hockey League (NHL) team back to Quebec City. The city used to have the Quebec Nordiques until 1995. If a new team came, it would play at the Videotron Centre.

In 2011, Quebecor also started TVA Sports, a TV channel just for sports. In 2015, they officially asked the NHL for an expansion team. The NHL looked into their request, but a new team has not yet been added to Quebec City.

The company is led by a group of people on its board of directors. These people help make important decisions for Quebecor.

Brian Mulroney, a former Prime Minister of Canada, used to be the chairman of the board. He passed away in 2024.
