Music Career
How It All Started (2008–2014)
Quebonafide began his music journey in a duo called Yochimu. In 2012, he started competing in freestyle rap battles, where rappers improvise lyrics on the spot. He quickly got noticed for his talent.
In 2013, he released a mixtape called Eklektyka, which made him well-known in the Polish hip-hop world. This led to more opportunities, like performing on tour and being a guest artist on other rappers' songs. One of his guest appearances, on the song 'Euforia', became a radio hit.
First Official Album: Ezoteryka (2014–2015)
In 2014, Quebonafide announced his first official album and started his own record label, QueQuality. His debut album, Ezoteryka, came out on March 27, 2015. It went straight to number one on Poland's official sales chart, OLiS. The album was a big success and earned a gold record award. After its release, he went on his first major tour, the Ezoteryka Tour.
World Travels and Egzotyka (2015–2018)
For his next album, Egzotyka, Quebonafide had a unique idea. He decided to travel the world and write a song for each place he visited. He filmed music videos in countries like Thailand, Mexico, Dubai, India, and Brazil.
He released many singles from the album, including 'Oh my Buddha', 'Quebahombre', and 'Madagascar'. The album was incredibly popular even before it came out, selling enough copies to be certified platinum in pre-orders alone. When Egzotyka was released on June 9, 2017, it hit number one on the charts and stayed there for three weeks. It became the best-selling album in Poland in 2017.
Taconafide and a Short Break (2018–2019)
In 2018, Quebonafide teamed up with another famous Polish rapper, Taco Hemingway. They formed a duo called Taconafide and released a joint album, Soma 0.5 mg. Their first single, 'Art-B', was a huge hit. Their next song, 'Tamagotchi', broke streaming records in Poland on Spotify.
The album was released on April 13, 2018, and immediately went to number one. It sold so well that it earned a diamond record status. The duo performed at major events like the Open'er Festival, where they drew a massive crowd.
After this success, Quebonafide announced he was taking a break from his career in September 2018. He returned to the stage in 2019 for special events, including a huge concert at the National Stadium with Taco Hemingway and Dawid Podsiadło.
A New Look with Romantic Psycho (2020–2021)

In early 2020, Quebonafide surprised everyone. He appeared with a completely new image, without his famous tattoos and with a quiet, shy personality. This was all part of a creative plan for his new album, Romantic Psycho. He even appeared on morning TV shows acting like this new character.
On April 1, 2020, he released the single 'Szubienicapestycydybroń'. In the music video, he dropped the shy-guy act and his tattoos were back. It turned out that his new image was a promotion, and the real album was now being released. The album was a massive success, taking the top spot on the charts. It quickly went platinum and became the best-selling album in Poland for April 2020.
To go with the album, he released a documentary film called Quebonafide: Romantic Psycho Film, which showed how he created the album and its unique promotion.
New Projects and a New Name (2021–2022)
In 2022, Quebonafide started a new business called Miss Ti 蒂小姐, a brand of vegan drinks like matcha latte and milk tea.
In June 2022, he announced that he was mostly finished with making music as Quebonafide. He said he planned to focus on his new business and other interests. He then released a song under his real name, Jakub Grabowski, showing a new direction for his life.
Final Album and Farewell Concerts (2024–2025)
On November 21, 2024, Quebonafide released the single “Futurama 3 (fanserwis)”. The song was a huge success, reaching number one on the charts and winning a Fryderyk award.
In June 2025, he presented a musical film called Północ / Południe (North / South), which featured new songs. He then performed two final, farewell concerts at the PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw. His final studio album, Północ / Południe, was released on July 4, 2025.
