Queen Valley is a small community located in the middle of Pinal County, Arizona, in the United States. It's known as a census-designated place (CDP), which means it's a special area defined by the government for counting people. In 2000, about 820 people lived here. By 2020, the population had grown to 967 people.

Geography of Queen Valley

Queen Valley is found at a height of about 2,000 feet (610 meters) above sea level. It sits along the south side of Queen Creek, which flows towards the west.

Nearby Natural Areas

Just 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers) to the east, you'll find the edge of the Tonto National Forest. This forest is a huge protected area with lots of nature to explore. Close by, there's also Comet Peak, which stands 2,681 feet (817 meters) tall. About a mile (1.6 km) east, there's a dam that helps control floods in the Whitlow Ranch Flood Control Basin.

Surrounding Towns and Mountains

To the southwest, about 3.4 miles (5.4 km) away, is Florence Junction. You can reach Queen Valley from US Route 60 by taking Queen Valley Road, which is two miles east of Florence Junction. Apache Junction is located to the northwest. The impressive Superstition Mountains can be seen to the north and northwest of Queen Valley.
