The Quepe River starts its journey in a lake that shares its name, called Laguna Quepe. This lake is located close to the Llaima volcano, a well-known natural landmark.

From its starting point, the Quepe River flows for about 112 kilometers (which is about 70 miles). That's a pretty long trip for a river!
Where Does the Quepe River End?
After its long journey, the Quepe River joins another river called the Cautín River. This meeting point is near a place called Almagro. It's only a few kilometers upstream from where the Cautín River then meets the Chol Chol River. When the Cautín and Chol Chol rivers come together, they form an even bigger river known as the Imperial River. So, the Quepe River is like a puzzle piece that helps create a larger river system.
