Early Life and Music Beginnings
Quinn grew up in west Baltimore, a city in Maryland. Before she became known for her special hyperpop and digicore sound, she explored different music styles. She grew up listening to a type of hip hop music called Chicago drill.
Quinn's Music Journey
In 2019, Quinn joined an online community called a Discord server. There, she met and became friends with other artists like Midwxst and Ericdoa. She later released songs with many of these new friends.
During the start of the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, Quinn became much more well-known. This happened after the experimental pop group 100 gecs gave her a shoutout, which means they publicly praised her music. Her songs, especially "i don't want that many friends in the first place," were then added to Spotify's special hyperpop playlist. This helped many more people discover her music.
In late 2021 and 2022, Quinn started to change her music style. She began to focus more on hip hop sounds for her first album, drive-by lullabies, and her next album, Quinn.
Quinn released her third studio album, "Stars Fell On Trench," on her 20th birthday, December 15, 2024.
