Amy Renee Heidemann Noonan (born April 29, 1986) is a talented American artist. She is best known by her stage name, Qveen Herby. She is a rapper, singer, and songwriter. She also runs her own business.

Amy grew up in Seward, Nebraska. She first became famous as part of a music duo called Karmin. With Karmin, she released two studio albums. After Karmin took a break in 2017, she started her solo music journey. She began making music as Qveen Herby. Her new sound mixed R&B and hip hop. Her first solo music collection, EP 1, came out on June 2, 2017. Later, her first full album, A Woman, was released on May 21, 2021.

After EP 1 and EP 2, Qveen Herby released many more EPs. These included EP 3 and EP 4 in 2018. Then came EP 5, EP 6, and EP 7 in 2019. In 2020, she shared that EP 8 and EP 9 would be her last EPs for a while. In October 2021, she released a special Halloween-themed EP called Halloqveen. The next year, she released Mad Qveen, and then The Muse in February 2023.

Her Music Journey

Starting with Karmin (2010–2016)

Amy Heidemann began her music career with her husband, Nick Noonan. They formed a pop duo called Karmin. They started by sharing cover songs on YouTube. Soon, they signed with Epic Records.

Their first collection of songs, Hello, came out in 2012. Even though some critics didn't love it, the music was very popular. Two songs from it became big hits. "Brokenhearted" reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also made it into the top ten in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. "Hello" even hit number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

After Hello, the duo released their first full album, Pulses, in 2014. This album was not as big a hit. However, the song "Acapella" from it did well. It reached the top ten in Australia and New Zealand.

Karmin later left Epic Records and started releasing music on their own. They put out several songs from 2014 to 2016. These included "Sugar", "Yesterday", and "Along the Road". In 2016, they released the Sugar EP with Wild Culture. Their second album, Leo Rising, came out on September 9, 2016.

Becoming Qveen Herby (2017–2020)

In 2017, Karmin's social media pages changed to Qveen Herby. A message appeared saying, "Karmin Is Dead, Long Live the Qveen." Amy Heidemann then officially announced her solo career. She also shared news about her first solo music collection, EP 1.

Her husband, Nick Noonan, still worked with her on the project. Amy explained that the new sound was so different, they couldn't release it as Karmin. She chose "Qveen" from a college nickname. "Herby" came from the mascot of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. She later learned "Herby" means "Warrior."

The music video for her first song, "Busta Rhymes," came out on June 1, 2017. EP 1 was released the next day. It did quite well, reaching number 37 on the US Billboard Independent Albums Chart. It also hit number 13 on the US Heatseekers Albums Chart.

After EP 1, she released her second EP, EP 2, on December 1, 2017. Around this time, Qveen Herby and DJ Audrey Napoleon started their beauty business, Qveen Studios. Their makeup line was inspired by Qveen Herby's songs.

She continued to release many EPs. EP 3 and EP 4 came out in 2018. EP 5, EP 6, and EP 7 followed in 2019. She also released a live EP called The Vignettes and a single album, Tiny Piano. Finally, EP 8 and EP 9 were released in 2020. Three of her EPs appeared on Billboard charts in the US. She announced that EP 9 would be the last in her EP series. After this, she released new songs like "Alright" and "The Show."
