Rajawali Televisi (RTV, also known as rtv) is a TV channel in Indonesia. It is owned by Rajawali Corpora and Mayapada. RTV is known as a "family television" channel. It is officially allowed to broadcast by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission.

RTV first started broadcasting on November 1, 2009. Back then, it was called B Channel. On May 3, 2014, B Channel changed its name to RTV. The channel starts its programs early in the morning. RTV mostly shows fun programs, light news, and many different family shows.

In 2016, a company called Mayapada bought 20% of RTV. This means Mayapada became a part-owner of the channel. Mayapada also owns another TV channel called MYTV.

Where Can You Watch RTV?

RTV broadcasts from Jakarta and nearby areas. It uses over 23 different frequencies to reach viewers. Since April 2011, you can watch RTV all over Indonesia. It is available through the Palapa D satellite.

You can also watch RTV on many paid TV services. These include Transvision and First Media. RTV is one of the biggest TV networks in Indonesia. It has many broadcasting stations across the country. You can also watch RTV online through streaming services.

What Shows Are On RTV?

RTV has many different types of shows for everyone. It focuses on family-friendly content.

Shows for Kids

RTV has many shows especially for children. These shows are on during the day on weekdays. RTV also shows many tokusatsu series in the evening. These are live-action shows from Japan with special effects.

RTV has special time slots for kids' shows. These include Sinema Ceria, Sinema Keluarga, Mega Hero, and Super Anime.

News Programs

RTV has news programs called Lensa Indonesia. These news shows are on in the morning, at noon, in the afternoon, and late at night. RTV also has news shows about investigations.

In September 2020, Lensa Indonesia Sore changed. It was replaced by shorter news updates called Lensa Indonesia Update. This happened because more children's programs were added.

Other Fun Programs

From 2017 to 2018, RTV had special anniversary shows called Pesta Sahabat. These shows were for everyone, including kids. For its 5th birthday in 2019, RTV showed Hey Tayo. This was based on the popular kids' cartoon Tayo the Little Bus.

RTV used to have a mascot named Mr. Ravi. Now, its mascot is Rio. Rio is a purple superhero with a helmet that looks like an eagle's head.
