Radium Springs is a small community in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's a special area defined by the government for counting people, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. In 2020, about 1,498 people lived there. Radium Springs is also part of the larger Las Cruces area.

Where is Radium Springs?
Radium Springs is located at the top part of the Mesilla Valley. This valley is a flat area along the Rio Grande river. The community covers about 6 square miles (15.45 square kilometers) of land. There are no large bodies of water within its borders.
This area is also famous for its old hot springs. These are places where warm water comes up from underground. It's also home to the historic Fort Selden, which was an important military post during the time of the Indian Wars.

Radium Springs has a type of weather called a cold semi-arid climate. This means it's generally dry, but it can still get quite cold, especially in winter.
The hottest temperatures ever recorded in Radium Springs were 110°F (43°C). This happened on July 9, 1951, and again on June 16, 1980. The coldest temperatures recorded were -20°F (-29°C), which occurred on January 29, 1948, and February 3, 2011.
