Rafa Navarro's Football Journey

Rafa Navarro was born in Salteras, a town in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. He started playing football at a young age. He trained with the youth teams of famous clubs like Sevilla FC, Coria CF, and Real Betis.

Starting His Senior Career

Rafa made his first appearance as a senior player on December 2, 2012. He played for Real Betis B, which is the reserve team for Real Betis. This game was in the Segunda División B, a Spanish football league.

In August 2013, Rafa joined CD Gerena, a team in the Tercera División. He played a lot of games for them during the 2013–14 season. After that, he returned to Real Betis and their reserve team in July 2014.

Moving Up to the Main Team

Rafa continued to play regularly for Betis B in the next few seasons. His hard work paid off, and in June 2016, he signed a new contract with the club until 2020. Soon after, on August 24, he was officially moved up to the main Real Betis squad. He was given the number 2 jersey.

Rafa played his first professional game in La Liga, which is Spain's top football league, on September 23, 2016. He played the entire game, helping his team win 1–0 against Málaga CF. He scored his first goal in La Liga on March 18, 2017. It was the final goal in a 2–0 win against CA Osasuna.

New Adventures and Loan Spells

On July 2, 2018, Rafa signed a three-year contract with another top-tier club, Deportivo Alavés. Right away, he was loaned out to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, a team in France's Ligue 2, for one year.

After returning from France, he didn't play any games for Alavés during the 2019–20 season. Then, in October 2020, he went on loan again. This time, he joined NK Istra 1961, a team in Croatia.
