Discovering Salteras: A Spanish City

Salteras is known for its ancient roots. The Romans, who lived there a very long time ago, called it Paesula. This shows that the city has been around for many, many centuries!

Where is Salteras Located?

Historically, Salteras was part of an area called the Comarca del Aljarafe. A comarca is like a traditional region in Spain. However, today, Salteras is officially part of the Comarca Metropolitana de Sevilla. This means it's now considered part of the larger metropolitan area around the big city of Seville.
