Early Life and Background
Narinesingh was born in Brooklyn, New York City. She grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with her parents and younger sister. Her family has roots in Trinidad, France, and Polynesia.
After high school, where she studied performing arts, Rajee attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She later moved to Miami, Florida, and worked for The American Red Cross.
A Difficult Journey to Fame
In the late 1990s, Rajee shared that she is a transgender woman. This means she was assigned male at birth but identifies and lives as a woman. To make her appearance more feminine, she sought cosmetic injections in 2005.
Unsafe Medical Procedures
Rajee went to a person who was not a licensed doctor for the injections. She believed she was receiving safe silicone fillers. Instead, the person injected a dangerous mix of substances, including cement and tire sealant, into her face, chest, and hips.
For several months, Rajee did not know what was in the injections. Soon, her skin began to swell and harden, forming painful lumps. Feeling embarrassed and scared, she rarely left her home for many years.
Getting Help and Finding Hope
A friend encouraged Rajee to seek professional medical help. She met Dr. John J. Martin, a kind plastic surgeon who offered to treat her for free. He began treatments to soften the hard materials under her skin.
In 2015, Rajee appeared on the E! Entertainment reality show Botched. On the show, expert surgeons performed several operations to remove most of the hardened cement from her face. Her story has been featured on many talk shows, including Anderson Cooper 360 and The Doctors.

Besides her reality TV appearances, Rajee is also an actress and a musician. She has acted in several movies, including the 2010 short film Bella Maddo. She has also released a few songs.
