Ralf Little (born February 8, 1980) is an English actor, writer, and presenter. He also used to play semi-professional football. Ralf is well-known for his roles in TV comedy shows.
He played Antony Royle in The Royle Family from 1998 to 2010. He was also Jonny Keogh in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps from 2001 to 2006. More recently, he was the narrator for Our Yorkshire Farm and its spin-offs. From 2020 to 2024, he starred as Detective Inspector Neville Parker in the popular show Death in Paradise.

Early Life and Education
Ralf Little was born in Oldham, England, on February 8, 1980. He went to Bolton School. His younger brother, Ross Little, is also an actor.
Ralf started studying medicine at the University of Manchester. But he decided to stop in 1998. He wanted to focus completely on his acting career.
Acting Career Highlights
Ralf Little started his acting career with small roles. He appeared in shows like Elidor and Children's Ward.
His big break came in 1998. He got the role of Antony Royle in the BBC sitcom The Royle Family. He was in the show until 2000. He also came back for special Christmas episodes in 2006, 2009, and 2010.
In 2001, Ralf took on another main role. He played Jonny Keogh in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. He was in six series of this show. In 2007, he decided to leave the show because he was too busy.
Ralf has also acted in films. He played Peter Hook in 24 Hour Party People. He was also in Frozen and The Waiting Room. In 2014, he voiced Captain Skip in the animated film The Unbeatables.
In 2013, Ralf made a guest appearance in Death in Paradise. Six years later, in 2019, he returned to the show. This time, he became the new main character, DI Neville Parker. He starred in the show until 2024.
Besides acting, Ralf has also narrated several TV series. He narrated Monkey Life for many years. He also narrated Our Yorkshire Farm and its spin-offs. In 2020, he presented a travel show with his Royle Family co-star, Ricky Tomlinson. It was called Ricky & Ralf's Very Northern Road Trip.
Football Career
Ralf Little is a big fan of Manchester United. He loves playing football. He has played for several semi-professional clubs. He played for Maidstone United in 2003. He also joined Edgware Town in 2004.
He has played in many charity football matches. In 2010, he played for England in a Soccer Aid game. In 2012, he was the captain for the Sealand national football team. He played against the Chagos Islands. He also played in two games against Alderney in 2012 and 2013.
In 2017, he played in the Game 4 Grenfell match. The money raised went to help those affected by the Grenfell disaster.
Personal Life
Ralf Little's great-grandfather, Albert Lockley, was a Welsh international footballer. He played for Chirk.
Ralf is engaged to Lindsey Ferrentino. She is an American playwright and screenwriter. They got engaged in 2018.
Ralf identifies as a humanist. This means he focuses on human values and reason. In 2020, he became a patron of Humanists UK, a charity that supports humanism.
