Rancho Mirage High School is a secondary school in Rancho Mirage, California. It is part of the Palm Springs Unified School District.
The school opened in 2013. Rancho Mirage High School offers many classes to help students get ready for college. It also has special programs like:
- Automotive repair (learning about cars)
- Culinary arts (cooking and food)
- Technical theater (behind-the-scenes work for plays)
- AVID (a program to help students prepare for college)
- Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) classes (more challenging courses).
For the 2019-2020 school year, about 1,524 students were in grades 9 through 12. Most students come from James Workman Middle School and Nellie N. Coffman Middle School in Cathedral City.

Sports at RMHS
The school's sports teams are called the Rattlers. Their football and basketball teams play against other schools in the Desert Empire League and some from the Desert Valley League.
The junior varsity and varsity football teams play at Dr. Jerry Argovitz Football Stadium. This stadium is right on the school campus.
Performing Arts
Rancho Mirage High School has a great performing arts program. The Helene Galen Performing Arts Center is located on the school campus. It's a place where students can learn about technical theater. This center also hosts other district programs, like the Musical Theater University.
School Location
Rancho Mirage High School is one of four schools in the Palm Springs Unified School District that are on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. This land belongs to the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians.
