Rangeya Raghava (रांगेय राघव), whose birth name was Tirumalai Nambakam Vir Raghava Acharya, was a very important Hindi writer from the 20th century. He was born on January 17, 1923, in Agra, a city in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. He also lived in Weir village in Bharatpur.

He started writing when he was only 13 years old! Even though he lived a short life of 39 years, he received many awards for his work. He completed his higher studies at St. John's College, Agra. Later, he earned a special degree called a Ph.D. His research was about Guru Gorakhnath and his times. His wife, Sulochana Rangeya Raghava, lives in Jaipur and used to be a professor at the University of Rajasthan. There is also a college named after him, Rangey Raghav Inter College, in Ambedkar Nagar District.

One of his most famous novels, 'Kab Tak Pukaroon' (meaning "How Long Do I Call"), was even turned into a television series for Doordarshan, India's public broadcaster. This story explored the challenges between two different social groups in India. One group was the Nats, a nomadic community similar to the Romani people in Europe. The other group was the Thakurs. These groups had different social standings in old Indian society.

Another important novel by Rangeya Raghava is 'Murdon Ka Teela' (meaning "The Mound of The Dead"). This book was published in 1948. It tells a story about the ancient Indus valley civilization. The novel includes many interesting facts from archaeological discoveries about that time.
