"Re-Education (Through Labor)" is a song by the American punk rock band Rise Against. It was the very first single released from their fifth studio album, called Appeal to Reason.
The song was first made available online and sent to radio stations on August 25, 2008. On the same day, a music video for the song was also released for fans to watch.
Special Vinyl Record
A special, limited edition of the single was also made. This version was released on a 7-inch vinyl record. You could only get this special record if you pre-ordered the Appeal to Reason album before it came out.
This vinyl record also included an extra song on its B-side. This bonus track was a cover of the song "Minor Threat" by the band Minor Threat. A cover song means that Rise Against performed their own version of a song originally made by another artist.
