Reagan Amyre Gomez-Preston (born April 24, 1980) is an American actress. She acts in TV shows, movies, and does voice acting for cartoons. You might know her as Zaria Peterson from the TV show The Parent 'Hood (1995–1999). She also voiced Roberta Tubbs in the cartoon The Cleveland Show (2009–2013). Reagan Gomez-Preston also played Francine in the TV show Love, Inc. in 2005 and 2006.

Early Life and Moving to Hollywood

Reagan Gomez-Preston was born in Detroit, Michigan. Her mother, Cheryl Gomez, is Puerto Rican, and her father, Dr. Bennett Preston, is African American. She has a younger brother named Kyle.

Her father is a medical examiner in Philadelphia. When Reagan was young, her mother worked for the Detroit Police Department. Her mother was one of the first women to patrol the streets. Because of some difficult situations at work, her mother won a lawsuit against the Detroit Police Department. After this, her family moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and then to Philadelphia.

In Philadelphia, Reagan started taking acting, dancing, and singing lessons at the Freedom Theatre. Her parents later divorced. In 1994, when she was 14, she moved from Philadelphia to Los Angeles. She moved with her mother and brother to follow her dream of becoming an actress.

Reagan's Acting Career

Reagan Gomez-Preston started her acting career at age 14. Her first big role was Zaria Peterson in The Parent 'Hood, a TV show on The WB. She also appeared on other TV shows like One on One and Love Inc. She was even a guest host on the music show Soul Train in 1995.

You might have also seen her on Nickelodeon's The Amanda Show. She has been featured in King magazine a couple of times. She also appeared in music videos for songs like "Sorry 2004" by Ruben Studdard and "Whatever You Like" by T.I..

Reagan is also a writer for movies and has her own business. She is well-known for her voice acting. She voiced Roberta Tubbs, Cleveland Brown's stepdaughter, on the animated TV show The Cleveland Show from 2009 to 2013. She also voiced twin sisters Jenny and Kiki Pizza on the Cartoon Network show Steven Universe. In 2016, she started a role on the TV drama Queen Sugar as Chantal Williams.

Reagan's Family Life

Reagan Gomez-Preston started dating model DeWayne Turrentine in 1995. DeWayne was part of a hip hop group called Quo. They got married on November 10, 1999.

Reagan and DeWayne have two children. Their daughter, Scarlett Annette Turrentine, was born on May 13, 2007. Their son, Tyger Attila Turrentine, was born on April 2, 2011.
