About Rebeka Dremelj
Rebeka Dremelj was born in Brežice, a town in Slovenia, which was part of Yugoslavia at the time. She grew up to become a singer. In 2001, she won the title of Miss Slovenia.
Her Journey to Miss World
After winning Miss Slovenia, Rebeka took part in the Miss World 2001 competition. She did very well in the Miss World Talent Show, coming in second place. This achievement helped her sign a contract with Sony Records London.
Eurovision Song Contest
