Redondela is a charming town located in the province of Pontevedra, within the region of Galicia in Spain. It's part of the Vigo area. This town is famous for its two large railway bridges, called viaducts, which were built a long time ago in the 1800s. Because of these impressive structures, Redondela is often called the "Village of the Viaducts." It's also a stop for pilgrims walking the Camino de Santiago, specifically on the Portuguese Way route.
The municipality covers an area of about 51.9 square kilometers (20.0 square miles). In 2021, its population was around 29,192 people.
