Cedeira is a cool town, also called a municipality, located in the province of A Coruña in northwestern Spain. It's part of the autonomous community of Galicia. This charming place sits right on the northern coast of the Rías Altas, which are like long, narrow inlets of the sea. As of 2022, Cedeira is home to about 6,626 people.

Close to Cedeira, there's a very old and special place called Santo André (or San Andres). It was a pilgrimage site even before Christianity arrived. People would visit a holy well there.
The chapel at San Andres has parts that are from the 12th century, which is super old! Most of the building you see today was designed in 1789. People have been making Christian pilgrimages here since at least 1391. The cliffs around San Andres are said to be some of the highest in Europe. Imagine standing there and looking out at the vast ocean!
