Redwood Village is a neighborhood located in the Mid-City area of San Diego, California. It used to be called Darnall. On June 7, 2007, the people living there voted to change the name to Redwood Village. This neighborhood is mostly made up of homes. However, the area south of University Avenue has the University Square Shopping Center.
Where is Redwood Village?
The boundaries of Redwood Village are clearly set. To the west, you'll find 54th Street. University Avenue marks the northern border. College Avenue is on the east side. Finally, Streamview Drive forms the southern edge of the neighborhood.

Redwood Village is home to an elementary school. This school helps young students learn and grow.
