Reese has won many important medals. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. He also won gold medals at the World Championships.

Reese Hoffa was born in Evans, Georgia. His birth name was Maurice Antawn Chism. He was adopted when he was four years old. He grew up to become a very strong athlete.

Reese Hoffa is one of the best shot putters in the world. He has thrown the shot put over 21 meters (about 69 feet) more than 100 times in competitions. This is a very rare achievement in his sport.
- Olympic Medal: He won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics. This is a huge honor for any athlete.
- World Champion: Reese won the gold medal at the 2007 World Outdoor Championships. He also won gold at the 2006 World Indoor Championships.
