History of Reform, Mississippi
Reform was first started in the year 1887. It was built along the path of an old train line called the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad.
Early Businesses in Reform
In the past, Reform was a busy little place. It had three general stores where people could buy almost anything they needed. The community also had a special machine called a cotton gin. This machine helped separate cotton fibers from their seeds. There was also a saw mill, which cut logs into lumber for building.

A post office opened in Reform in 1888. This allowed people to send and receive mail right in their own community.
