Reginald "Reggie" Jordan (born January 26, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. Reggie played as a guard, which means he helped move the ball and score points. He played for many teams in the NBA and other leagues around the world. After his playing career, he became a basketball coach.

Reggie Jordan's Basketball Journey
Growing Up and College Years
Reggie Jordan grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He went to Proviso East High School in Maywood, Illinois. After high school, he played college basketball. He first played at Southwestern College. Then he went to New Mexico State University.
Playing in the NBA
Reggie Jordan was never chosen by an NBA team in the draft. But he still made it to play in the NBA! He played in 6 NBA seasons. These were from 1993 to 1994, and then from 1996 to 2000.

In his NBA career, Reggie played in 186 games. One amazing moment happened on February 3, 1994. In only his fifth NBA game, he scored a career-high 28 points. This was for the Lakers against the Utah Jazz. He did this while on a short-term contract.
Playing Around the World
Besides the NBA, Reggie Jordan played in many other basketball leagues. He played in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). In the CBA, he won two championships. He won with the Yakima Sun Kings and the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He was also the CBA steals leader in 1996.
Reggie also played basketball in Greece for two seasons. He played there in 1994–95 and again in 2002. Later in his career, he played five seasons in Mexico. He retired from playing professional basketball in May 2010.
Coaching Career
After he stopped playing, Reggie Jordan became a coach. From 2010 to 2012, he was the head coach for the Fuerza Regia de Monterrey team in Mexico. After that, he worked as a basketball trainer in Chicago. In 2022, he became an assistant coach. He joined the Ensenada Lobos team in Mexico.
Achievements and Awards
Reggie Jordan had many great moments in his career. He was chosen as an All-Star four times in the LNBP league in Mexico. He was also a CIBACOPA All-Star in 2009. In college, he was named First-team All-Big West in 1991.
He also won gold medals for the United States. He won at the FIBA Americas Championship in 1993 and 1997.
