Reggie played for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the National Football League (NFL) for one season. He also played college football at Oklahoma State University. Over his career, he was part of several other teams. These included the New York Jets, Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, and the Edmonton Eskimos.

Reggie White grew up in Liberty, Texas. He went to Liberty High School. There, he was a star athlete in two sports. He earned special honors in both football and basketball.
High School Football Achievements
During his senior year in high school, Reggie was amazing at football. He ran for 1,209 yards. He also scored 17 touchdowns. Because of his great performance, he was named the Offensive Player of the Year. Reggie also took part in track and field events for his school team, the Panthers.
College Football Career
Reggie White played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He was part of their team from 1998 to 2000. In 1997, he was "redshirted." This means he practiced with the team but did not play in games.
Key College Season
In his senior year, which was 2000, Reggie had a fantastic season. He rushed for 1,049 yards. He also scored four touchdowns for the Cowboys.
Reggie White's Professional Football Journey
After college, Reggie White hoped to play in the NFL. He was not chosen in the 2001 NFL draft. However, he still got a chance to play professionally.
Starting with the New York Jets
Reggie signed with the New York Jets on April 25, 2001. This was his first professional team. But he was released by the Jets on September 1, 2001.
Time with the Tennessee Titans
Next, Reggie joined the Tennessee Titans. He was signed to their practice squad on September 4, 2001. A practice squad is where players train with the team. They can be called up to play if needed. He was released by the Titans on October 17, 2001.
Brief Stint with the Pittsburgh Steelers
Reggie then signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad. This happened on October 31, 2001. However, his time with the Steelers was short. He was released just a week later, on November 7, 2001.
Playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars

Later Teams
