Reggie Williams, born on August 29, 1960, is an American baseball coach and a former professional baseball player. He played as an Outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) for four seasons, from 1985 to 1988. Before playing professionally, he was a college baseball star.

Early Life and College Baseball
Reggie Williams was born in Memphis, Tennessee. After finishing high school, he went to Southern University. There, he played college baseball for the Southern Jaguars team from 1979 to 1982.
In 1981, the St. Louis Cardinals picked him in the 6th round of the 1981 Major League Baseball draft. However, Reggie decided to stay in college for another year to finish his senior season.
Professional Baseball Career
The Los Angeles Dodgers chose Williams in the 13th round of the 1982 Major League Baseball draft. He then played in the minor leagues before making it to the big leagues.
Reggie Williams played in Major League Baseball for four years. He was with the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1985 to 1987. After that, he played for the Cleveland Indians in 1988.
Coaching Career
After his playing days, Reggie Williams became a baseball coach. On August 20, 2021, he was named the head baseball coach for the Alcorn State Braves. He coached the team from the 2022 season through the 2024 season. During his time at Alcorn State, the team had an overall record of 17 wins and 120 losses.
