Régulo Caro (born November 5, 1981) is a popular Mexican singer and songwriter. He is known for his music in the Regional Mexican genre.
About Régulo Caro
Régulo Caro was born in Los Angeles, California. He lived there until he was 7 years old. Later, he moved to Ciudad Obregón in Sonora, Mexico. He also spent some more time in California before growing up in Ciudad Obregón.
Music runs in Régulo's family. His uncles and grandparents were also musicians. From a young age, Régulo loved music. When he was 13, he decided to start his own band. By the time he was 16, he was already performing at parties.
Régulo studied business administration in college. However, he soon realized his true passion was music. He only worked in business for a few months.
His Music Career
Régulo Caro is a talented songwriter. He has written songs for many famous Regional Mexican artists. Some of these include his cousin Gerardo Ortíz, Banda MS, and Alfredo Olivas.
Régulo is one of the most popular artists in the Regional Mexican music style. He has won many awards for his work. He was even nominated for a Latin Grammy award. He also received a BMI award and a gold record. Régulo has a star on the Las Vegas Walk of Stars.
His albums have been very successful. They often reach the top 5 on the Regional Mexican Albums list by Billboard magazine. Many of his songs have also become number one hits.
