Reinaldo da Cruz Oliveira, known simply as Reinaldo, is a Brazilian football coach and former player. He was born on March 14, 1979, in Itaguaí, Brazil. Reinaldo played as a forward during his career. Today, he is the head coach for Maricá. He officially stopped playing football on July 11, 2019.

Reinaldo's Playing Career
Reinaldo had a long and exciting career playing football for many different teams. He started his youth career at Flamengo from 1997 to 1999.
Early Club Years
Reinaldo began his professional journey with Flamengo in 1999. He played there until 2001. After that, he moved to Europe to play for Paris Saint-Germain in France. During his time with Paris Saint-Germain, he also played on loan for São Paulo in Brazil.
Playing in Asia and Back to Brazil
In 2005, Reinaldo played for Kashiwa Reysol in Japan. The next year, in 2006, he returned to Brazil to play for Santos. He then went to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Ittihad in 2007. Later that year, he went back to Japan to play for JEF United Chiba.
Later Playing Years
Reinaldo continued to play for various clubs. In 2009, he played for Botafogo in Brazil. He also had a short time playing in South Korea for Suwon Bluewings in 2010. He then played for Figueirense and Bahia in Brazil. In 2012, he played in China for Guangdong Sunray Cave. He finished his playing career with teams like Paraná, Metropolitano, Luverdense, Inter de Lages, Goa (in India), Boavista SC, and Brasiliense.
Reinaldo's Coaching Journey
After retiring as a player, Reinaldo decided to become a football coach. He started his coaching career in 2020.
First Coaching Roles
Reinaldo's first coaching job was with Inter de Lages in 2020. He then coached the Under-20 team for Perilima from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, he also coached Nacional de Patos and Carlos Renaux.
Current Coaching Role
Since January 2023, Reinaldo has been the head coach of Maricá. He continues to lead the team today.
