Renardo Sidney, Jr. (born December 6, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. He was a top player in high school. He later played college basketball for the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

High School Basketball Star
Renardo Sidney showed great talent in high school. During his second year at Artesia High School, he was a key player. He scored about 18.6 points and grabbed 9.0 rebounds per game. His strong play helped his team win the State Division 3 championship. He also earned All-State honors that year.
Moving to Fairfax High
After his sophomore year, Sidney moved to Fairfax High School. In his junior year, he continued to excel. He averaged 24.0 points and 13.3 rebounds per game. He was again chosen as an all-state player.
Senior Year Achievements
In his final high school season, Sidney's performance was even better. He averaged 26.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game. He was once more an all-state selection. Sidney was also named a McDonald's All-American and a Parade All-American. These honors recognize the best high school players in the country.
College Basketball Journey
Sidney attended Mississippi State University for college. He was unable to play during his entire first year. In his second year, he missed the first nine games. After that, he played in 19 games and started 18 of them. He averaged 14.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Junior Year and NBA Draft
In his junior season, Sidney averaged 9.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. After this season, he decided to enter the 2012 NBA draft. However, he was not chosen by any NBA team in the draft.
Professional Career
After college, Renardo Sidney began his professional basketball career. On November 7, 2012, he joined the Los Angeles D-Fenders. This team was part of the NBA D-League, which is now called the NBA G League.
Playing in Venezuela
Later, on December 13, 2013, Sidney signed with Guaros de Lara. This team is located in Venezuela, a country in South America.
California Basketball Association
On January 10, 2016, Sidney was the very first player chosen in a new league. He was selected as the number one overall pick by the Compton Airmen. This happened in the first-ever draft of the California Basketball Association.
