Renell Wren was born on October 23, 1995. He is an American professional football player. He plays as a nose tackle, which is a very strong defensive position in football. Renell played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2019 NFL draft.

Renell Wren started his professional football career in 2019. He has played for a few different teams in the National Football League (NFL).
Playing for the Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals picked Renell Wren in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft. He was the 125th player chosen overall. In 2019, he played in 11 games and started two of them. He was later placed on injured reserve in December 2019. This means he could not play due to an injury.
In 2020, Renell was placed on a special list for players who are injured outside of football. He later returned to the active team roster. However, he was placed on injured reserve again in August 2020 because of a quadriceps injury.
On August 31, 2021, the Bengals decided to let Renell go. The next day, he signed with their practice squad. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster.
Time with the Philadelphia Eagles
On February 25, 2022, Renell Wren signed a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. He stayed with the team for a few months. However, he was released by the Eagles on August 30, 2022.
Joining the Pittsburgh Steelers
On September 2, 2022, Renell signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad. He continued to work hard with the team. On January 12, 2023, he signed a special contract. This contract meant he would be with the Steelers for the next season.
