Renārs Kaupers (born on September 1, 1974) is a famous Latvian pop and rock singer. He plays instruments and writes songs. Renārs is best known as the lead singer of the popular band Prāta Vētra, which is known around the world as Brainstorm.

Early Life and Career
Renārs Kaupers finished his studies at the University of Latvia in 1996. He earned a degree in journalism. Renārs is very good with languages and can speak English, Latvian, and Russian fluently.
He is the lead singer of the Latvian pop and rock band Brainstorm. In 2000, his band came in third place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with their song "My Star."
In 2001, Renārs also won the Latvian Film Prize. He was named the best actor for his role as Juziks in the movie Vecās pagastmājas mistērija, which means The Mystery of the Old Parish House.
Hosting Big Events

- In 2003, he hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Riga, Latvia. He hosted it with Marija Naumova, also known as Marie N.
