Reuthe is a small town in Austria. It is located in the beautiful Bregenzerwald region. This area is in the western part of the state of Vorarlberg. Reuthe is part of the Bregenz district. Many people visit Reuthe, as tourism is a very important part of its economy.

Population Growth
Reuthe has seen its population grow over many years. In 1869, about 315 people lived there. By 2018, the number of residents had increased to around 614 people. This shows that more and more people have chosen to live in this charming town.
Geography of Reuthe
Reuthe is one of the smallest towns in Vorarlberg. It is small both in terms of its population and its land area. The town covers an area of about 10.24 square kilometers. A large part of Reuthe, about 53.4%, is covered by forests. Another 11.6% of the area is made up of high mountain pastures, also known as alplands.

St. Jakobus Parish Church
The parish church Hl. Jakobus is a very old building. It was first built way back in 1248. This church is an important part of the town's history. In 2002, a new organ was added to the church.
Bregenzerwald Walking Tour
Reuthe is also part of something special called the Bregenzerwald Umgang. This means "Bregenzerwald Walking Tour." It's a walking path that connects 12 traditional villages in the Bregenzerwald region. As you walk, you can learn about the unique architecture and how these villages were planned.
The tour helps you understand the local building styles. You can see how homes and public buildings have changed over time. It gives a great overview of the Bregenzerwald's history and design.
