The New Revolution at RCDB

The New Revolution is an exciting steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. It used to be known by other names like Revolution and Great American Revolution. This awesome ride was built by Anton Schwarzkopf and designed by Werner Stengel. It first opened to the public on May 8, 1976.

The New Revolution made history! It was the world's first modern roller coaster to have a vertical loop. A vertical loop is when the track goes in a full circle, turning riders upside down! Because of this cool invention, the roller coaster was given "Coaster Landmark" status by the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE). This means it's a very important and special roller coaster in history.
