Six Flags Magic Mountain is a super fun theme park located in Valencia, California, United States. It first opened its doors on May 29, 1971. For its first few years, until 1979, it was simply called Magic Mountain and was owned by itself. Then, in 1979, a big company called Six Flags bought the park. In 1980, its name changed to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Right next to it, you'll find a cool water park called Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.
This park is famous for its amazing rides! It has 18 roller coasters, which is the most in the world! Plus, there are many other exciting rides. Some of the most popular roller coasters include Revolution, Tatsu, X2, and Colossus. The park is divided into nine different themed areas. For example, there's DC Universe, which is inspired by DC Comics superheroes, and The Movie District, which is all about movies. The park is huge, covering 260 acres of land.
