Reyshawn Antonio Terry Sr. (born April 7, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a power forward or small forward. Reyshawn is known for his time playing college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He also played for many professional teams around the world.

Reyshawn Terry's College Basketball Journey
Reyshawn Terry played college basketball at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was part of the famous North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team.
Winning a National Championship
During his second year, in 2005, Reyshawn helped his team win the NCAA Championship. This is one of the biggest achievements in college basketball!
Top Scorer in Junior Year
In his junior year (2005–06), Reyshawn had his best season for scoring. He averaged 14.3 points per game. This means he scored a lot of points for his team in almost every game.
Graduating from College
Reyshawn finished his studies at the University of North Carolina in May 2007. He earned a degree in African-American studies.
Reyshawn Terry's Professional Basketball Career
After college, Reyshawn Terry began his professional basketball career. He was chosen by the Orlando Magic in the 2007 NBA draft. He was the 44th player picked overall.
Starting in Europe
Soon after the draft, Reyshawn moved to Europe to play.
- In 2007, he signed with Aris BC in Greece.
- In 2008, he joined Virtus Bologna in Italy. With this team, he helped them reach the quarterfinals of the FIBA EuroChallenge competition.
Playing in Spain and Germany
- For the 2009–10 season, Reyshawn played for Xacobeo Blu:Sens in Spain. This team had just moved up to the top Spanish league, Liga ACB.
- In August 2010, he signed with Brose Baskets in Germany. He won the German League championship and the German Cup with this team in 2011.
Playing Around the World
Reyshawn continued his career playing for many teams in different countries:
- He played for BC Khimik in Ukraine (2011–2012).
- He played for Champville SC in Lebanon (2012–2013).
- In September 2013, he signed with Le Mans in France.
- In 2014, he returned to Lebanon to play for Tadamon Zouk.
- In 2015, he played for several teams in Puerto Rico and Venezuela, including Maratonistas de Coamo, Trotamundos de Carabobo, and Cañeros del Este.
Later Career and MVP Award
Reyshawn continued to play in Asia and the Caribbean:
- In 2016, he joined the Ryukyu Golden Kings in Japan.
- In 2017, he signed with the Ulsan Mobis Phoebus in South Korea.
- In 2018, he played for Piratas de Quebradillas in Puerto Rico. He was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the BSN league for the 2018 season. This is a huge honor!
- He continued to play for various teams until 2023, including Anyang KGC (South Korea), Metros de Santiago (Dominican Republic), Mineros de Zacatecas (Mexico), Vaqueros de Bayamon (Puerto Rico), Plateros de Fresnillo (Mexico), Quimsa (Argentina), and Universidad de Concepción (Chile).
