Richard Chevolleau was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He grew up in Toronto, Canada. After finishing high school, he learned a special way of acting called the Meisner Technique. He studied with a teacher named Paul Bardier.
Acting Career
Richard Chevolleau started his acting journey in the late 1980s. He had small roles in TV shows like My Secret Identity and Friday the 13th: The Series. His first big role was in the 1989 TV movie Pray for Me, Paul Henderson.
In 1994, he got a main role in the TV series Boogies Diner. He also starred in two films by Clement Virgo: Rude in 1995 and The Planet of Junior Brown in 1997.
Richard has appeared in many other TV shows. These include Lost Girl, Saving Hope, Hannibal, and Murdoch Mysteries. He has also acted in films like Four Brothers (2005) and Home Again (2012).
He also performs on stage. He played the character Cory in a play called Fences. This play was shown at Theatre Calgary and the National Arts Centre.
