A Look at the Centre's History
The idea for the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts started in September 2003. The town council decided to build it where the old Town Hall used to be. A famous architect named Jack Diamond and his team designed the building.

Building the Centre was a huge project for Richmond Hill. It cost 30 million dollars, making it the biggest building project the town had ever done. The Centre officially opened its doors on February 28, 2009.
