Riedwihr (which is Riedweier in German) was once a small town, or commune, located in the Haut-Rhin area of north-eastern France. This region is known as Grand Est.
On January 1, 2016, Riedwihr joined with another commune to form a new, larger commune called Porte-du-Ried. This means Riedwihr no longer exists as a separate commune.
