Rob Rainford is best known for hosting a fun TV show called License to Grill. This show was all about cooking outdoors, having parties, and, of course, barbecuing! It aired on channels like Food Network Canada and Asian Food Channel.
What Was License to Grill About?
On License to Grill, Rob would host gatherings at his own home. He would prepare delicious meals right on the barbecue. While cooking, he shared lots of helpful tips and tricks for grilling. He showed viewers how to make simple barbecue foods like hamburgers and steaks. He also taught them how to cook more complex dishes, such as legs of lamb or even grilled desserts! A famous line he often said on the show was, "look at those beautiful char marks!"
Rob's Cookbook
Rob Rainford also wrote a cookbook called Rob Rainford's Born to Grill. It was released on May 8, 2012. The book shares many of his favorite barbecue recipes and cooking secrets.
