Winnipesaukee Muskrats (NECBL) (2010-2022)

Robbie Mills Field is a special baseball park in Laconia, New Hampshire, USA. It was once the home field for the Winnipesaukee Muskrats. This team played in a summer league called the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). The Muskrats started playing here in 2010.

The field was built in 2005. It is named after Robbie Mills, a local boy from Laconia.

What Makes Robbie Mills Field Special?

Robbie Mills Field can hold up to 1,200 people in its seats. These seats are bleachers that don't have a roof. You can find them behind the first-base and third-base dugouts.

There is also a smaller section of bleachers in centerfield. Fans can even bring their own lawn chairs. They can set them up beyond the outfield or behind the backstop to watch the game.

Field Upgrades and Changes

In 2009, the field got a big makeover. This happened because the Winnipesaukee Muskrats team was coming to play there. The changes made sure the field met the rules for the NECBL.

The outfield fences were moved back. They became 340 feet long down the lines. They were 370 feet long in the gaps between the bases. Also, a special press box was built on top of the concession stand. The bleachers and dugouts were made bigger too.

The Muskrat Monster Wall

In 2012, something really cool was added to the field. The Laconia Muskrats put up a huge green wall in the outfield. It was 18 feet tall and 88 feet wide! This wall looked like a smaller version of the famous Fenway Park's Green Monster. People loved this new feature, and they called it the "Muskrat Monster."
