Robert has been the only member who has stayed in the band for its entire 37-year history. The Cure has released 13 studio albums and 10 shorter albums called EPs. Their song "Lullaby" was their biggest hit in the UK, reaching number 5. In the US, their song "Lovesong" was their biggest hit.
Robert Smith also played guitar for another band called Siouxsie and the Banshees. In 1982, he made an album called Blue Sunshine with Steven Severin from the Banshees.
