Robert Stewart Trump (born August 26, 1948 – died August 15, 2020) was an American businessman. He was known as the younger brother of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Early Life and School
Robert Trump was born in Queens, New York City, on August 26, 1948. His parents were Fred Trump and Mary Anne MacLeod. He was the youngest of their five children. His older siblings were Maryanne, Fred Jr., Elizabeth, and Donald.
He went to St Paul's School in Garden City, Long Island. Later, he attended Boston University. There, he studied economics. He also played soccer for the university team. In 1969, he was the team captain and was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Career in Business
Robert Trump joined his father's company, the Trump Organization. He helped manage the company's real estate properties. These were located outside of Manhattan.
He also served on the board of directors for ZeniMax Media. This company owns Bethesda Softworks, a well-known video game publisher. He was on the board from 1999 until he passed away in 2020. During his time there, ZeniMax published popular game series. These included Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Doom, and Wolfenstein.
Robert Trump was also an investor in ZeniMax. In the years before his death, he was the president of Trump Management. This business was owned by the Trump siblings.
Book Lawsuit
In June 2020, Robert Trump filed a lawsuit. He wanted to stop his niece, Mary L. Trump, from publishing her book. The book was called Too Much and Never Enough. Robert Trump's lawsuit was based on a confidentiality agreement. Mary Trump had signed this agreement in 2001. It was part of a settlement related to her grandfather's will.
A judge ruled that the book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, was not part of the 2001 agreement. So, their right to publish the book was not limited. The judge confirmed that Mary Trump's contract with the publisher meant she could not stop the book. The book was published as planned on July 14, 2020.
Personal Life
Robert Trump lived in Millbrook, New York. In 1984, he married Blaine Beard. They met at a charity event. He had a stepson named Christopher. They divorced in 2009. In January 2020, Robert Trump married his second wife, Ann Marie Pallan.
Relationship with Donald Trump
Robert Trump was a strong supporter of his brother's political career. In a 2016 interview, Robert Trump said, "I support Donald one thousand percent." After Robert's death, a commentator mentioned that Robert and his wife were very strong supporters of Donald. Donald Trump himself said that Robert was his biggest fan.
Illness and Death
In June 2020, Robert Trump was in the hospital for about a week. On August 14, 2020, he was hospitalized again. His brother, Donald Trump, visited him that day. Donald Trump said Robert was seriously ill.
Robert Trump passed away the next day, August 15, 2020, in New York City. He was 71 years old. A family friend said that Robert had recently experienced bleeding in his brain after a fall. His niece, Mary L. Trump, had also mentioned that he had been sick and in the hospital a few times.
Donald Trump released a statement saying, "He was not just my brother, he was my best friend." A funeral service for Robert was held on August 21, 2020. It took place in the East Room of the White House. About 150 guests attended. This was the first time in nearly a century that a president held a funeral in the East Room. White House officials stated that President Trump would pay for all the expenses himself.
