Roberto Totaro (born in Belluno, Italy, in 1957) is a talented Italian cartoonist. He is well-known for creating popular comic books like Nirvana and La Gazzetta della Giungla. Nirvana has even been translated into Spanish!
The Story of Roberto Totaro
Roberto Totaro was born in 1957 in Belluno, a town in northern Italy. He loved art from a young age. He studied at an Artistic High School (called "Liceo Artistico") and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. This is a special university for art students.
Roberto started his career in the 1980s. He learned a lot from Luciano Gatto, who was a famous artist for Disney. Roberto also drew comics for an Italian magazine called Topolino. This magazine is the Italian version of Mickey Mouse comics!
