Robin Bengtsson (born 27 April 1990) is a Swedish pop singer. He became known after taking part in the Swedish TV show Idol 2008. Robin later represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine. His song was "I Can't Go On", and he finished in 5th place.

Robin's Journey to Stardom
Early Career and Idol
Robin Bengtsson was born in Svenljunga, Sweden. He first gained attention on Idol 2008, a popular singing competition. Robin finished in third place in the show. The winner was Kevin Borg, and Alice Svensson was the runner-up.
After Idol, Robin signed with a music label. He released his first single, "Another Lover's Gone", in 2009.
Taking on Wipeout and Melodifestivalen
In 2010, Robin joined a charity song called "Wake Up World". This song helped raise money for "Hjälp Haiti". He also sang "Long Long Night" with Kim Fransson.
Later in 2010, Robin competed in the Swedish version of Wipeout. This was a fun obstacle course TV show. He made it to the final round and finished in second place.
Robin then took part in Melodifestivalen 2016. This is a big music competition in Sweden. The winner gets to represent Sweden at Eurovision. Robin sang "Constellation Prize" and placed fifth.
Winning Melodifestivalen and Eurovision Success
Robin returned to Melodifestivalen 2017 with his song "I Can't Go On". This time, he won the competition! This meant he would represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv.
He performed in the first semi-final on 9 May. Robin successfully qualified for the grand final. In the final, he achieved an impressive fifth place.
Dancing and More Music
In 2019, Robin showed off his dancing skills. He participated in Let's Dance 2019, a popular TV show. His dance partner was Sigrid Bernson. They finished in fifth place together.
Robin competed in Melodifestivalen 2020 with the song "Take a Chance". He qualified directly for the final. In the final, he finished in eighth place.
He made another return to Melodifestivalen in 2022. His song was "Innocent Love". He qualified directly for the final again. In the final, he placed eleventh. However, the song was very popular. It reached number 10 on the Swedish music charts.
On 8 April 2023, Robin was a special guest on the Swedish TV show Drag Race Sverige.
